Terms of Use
The ground rules for using this website and working with us, written to be read, not skimmed.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of octopi-digitalai.com (the “website”), operated by Octopi Digital AI, a specialised brand of Octopi Digital LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
02Our services and project agreements
The website describes our AI-assisted video editing services. Information on the website is general and is not an offer that can be accepted.
Each project is governed by the quote, proposal or agreement we send you, which sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, revision rounds, fees and payment terms. If that document conflicts with these terms, the project document applies to that project.
03Using the website
You agree not to:
- use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- send false information through our forms or booking calendar;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems;
- interfere with the website’s operation, for example through malware, spam or excessive automated requests;
- copy, scrape or republish the website’s content in a way that misrepresents it or its source.
04Intellectual property
The website’s text, design, logo, graphics and code belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use, with a link back to the original page.
Videos, thumbnails and other portfolio work shown on the website remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed as examples of our work. They may not be downloaded, reused or used to train AI models without permission. Some photos on the website are used under the Unsplash License.
05Your content and deliverables
You keep ownership of the footage, audio, brand assets and other materials you provide. You give us permission to use them only to deliver your project, and you confirm you have the rights needed for us to edit and use them in that way.
Ownership and usage rights for finished videos are set out in your project agreement. We will only feature your work in our portfolio or marketing with your permission.
06Third-party services and links
The website links to or embeds services run by others, including our booking calendar (LeadConnector) and portfolio (Playbook). We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
07Disclaimer
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about its accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. Examples of results, formats and turnaround are illustrative and do not guarantee specific outcomes for your content.
08Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website. Our liability for services is set out in your project agreement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
09Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these terms, or materials you provide that infringe someone else’s rights.
10Changes to the website and these terms
We may update the website and these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when the terms last changed. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the revised terms.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Octopi Digital LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
